Do you need a NEW MARKET?
If your product is good, if you already command a good share of your local market, if this market is nearing saturation point and competition is stiff, then, YES. You need a new market in an emerging economy like Nigeria to increase sales and accelerate growth on a sustainable basis. In highly advanced economies, competition is high even as regular innovative disruptions are a constant threat to long term planning and sustainability. Don’t wait to be disrupted, move against it by leveraging on the opportunities that exist in foreign emerging markets where competition and disruptions are still at a minimum.
WHY NIGERIA ?
Geographical Factor
Nigeria is located along the coast of West Africa. This strategic location positions it as a preferred hub for international commercial activities across not just West Africa but also Africa as a whole.
Socio-Cultural Factor
With a population of over 190.9m (World Bank, 2017), Nigeria has the biggest population in Africa and is the seventh most populated country in the world. Unlike the declining population in Europe and America, Nigeria’s population growth rate is 2.6% (World Bank, 2017). More so, about 60% of the population is young and this has a significant impact on their preference for foreign products. Therefore, Nigeria is a heavily import-oriented country and her people are very hospitable
Economic Factor
Nigeria has the biggest economy in Africa. Though her GDP is low, this is because of the non-market transactions that go on every day that are not recorded as a result of the massive subsistent consumption patterns. However, the growth rate and demographic distribution of its huge population all point to the fact that Nigeria is the next biggest market for foreign investors and international trade.
Political Factor
Nigeria has witnessed sustained political stability for over 20 years now following seamless transitions from one democratically elected government to another. Baring some pockets of security challenges in the far north-eastern part of the country, which is being tackled frontally, there is a sustained progressive shift towards establishing democratic values and creating an enabling political environment for businesses to thrive. This has also resulted insignificant inflow of foreign direct investments
Regulatory & Business Environment Factor
One of Nigeria’s biggest problems is unemployment. Government recognizes the importance of foreign direct investment and international trade in job creation hence, friendly laws and policies with respect to taxes, equity control, access to credit, import/export guidelines, ease of doing business and ease of earnings repatriation have been put in place to attract and encourage foreign investors into Nigeria.

Whether as a foreign firm or domestic company, we ensure we secure the certificate of registration/incorporation within the shortest time possible.

IDENTIFICATION OF RELIABLE BUSINESS PARTNERS AND DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL MEMBERS
For domestic producers, the choice of distribution partners is a most fundamental decision with far- reaching effects. In international marketing, this decision is even more critical for obvious reasons. Distribution channel members/sales agents help producers by keeping stocks, breaking bulk, offering specialist services, improving efficiency in sales, enhancing accessibility of products to consumers and facilitating easy cash flows. The assurance of timely cash flows in very important especially in foreign trade as it reduces risks and vulnerability to foreign exchange fluctuations. The importance of having reliable and capable distribution partners and agents can therefore not be over-emphasized. In selecting distribution partners and agents, we consider our clients international objectives, the capabilities/resources available to the agents, and the financial and marketing implications of every decision.
DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL DESIGN & SELECTION
You can have a good product, a competitive price and excellent promotional plans but without the right distribution channel achieving customer satisfaction might be difficult. Four factors are crucial in designing and selecting a distribution channel, they are: market factor (consumers), producer factor, product factor and competition factor. If these are not well analyzed and factored into the channel design, the outcome will be a poor distribution channel and this can spell doom for any product no matter the quality. We are committed to helping clients design an efficient distribution channel and supply chain that ensures their products are available in sufficient quantities, at accessible locations and at times needed by the customers.
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
There are well-established government agencies/institutions that regulate the production and/or marketing of some products. Whatever the industry and product type, we provide all the necessary services that ensure our clients’ compliance to standards and regulations in all their business operations.
MARKET ENVIRONMENT ANALYSIS
Business environments differ even as markets and customers have their unique peculiarities. What works in one market might fail in another. There is a need therefore for firms entering a new market or introducing a new product to conduct a market profile analysis of the business environment to determine its needs, the stage of development and its future prospects. We conduct detailed evaluation of the business environment that is aimed at generating accurate data and actionable information about the market, customers, competitors, risks, opportunities and potentials.
We believe that with in-depth knowledge of the Nigerian market, our clients will be able to focus their resources and objectives at satisfying customer needs efficiently and exploiting identified opportunities in ways that will give them competitive advantage.
MARKET ENTRY STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT
It is important that in expanding into a new market, organizations develop an entry strategy that adapt their operational and marketing practices to suit the needs of the new market in order to facilitate market penetration and grow sales on a sustainable basis. Depending on our client’s goals and objectives, we develop market entry strategies that are based on a thorough market analysis. We work hand in hand with our clients in developing an entry framework that not only guarantees growth but also provides mechanisms for evaluating performance periodically in relation to the set goals and objectives.
MARKET PROCESS MANAGEMENT
It is true that customers are attracted to promises and the satisfaction they derive from products however, we believe that the marketing process goes a long way in defining the promises that products hold and the satisfaction that customers derive therefrom. We offer marketing process management solutions that put the customers at the centre of our client’s entire activities. We are committed in helping our clients in organizing and managing strategic marketing planning processes, selecting target markets and developing the marketing mix so they can maximize their available scarce resources.
